The two Koreas will hold their first working-level talks on railway cooperation projects in the North Korean city of Gaesong next week.

The Unification Ministry said Friday that the North proposed in a letter to hold the railway talks for two days starting January 29th.

At the talks, the two sides will discuss ways to restore the North's flood-damaged railways, as agreed during inter-Korean economic cooperation talks last December.
