North Korea's national symphony orchestra may hold a concert in London in September.
In a phone interview with Yonhap News in Seoul Friday, a British businessman doing business with North Korea, David Heather, said final preparations are under way with the Royal Festival Hall to hold the concert there two to three times on September ninth and tenth.
He said he's also talking with several venues for another concert in Middlesbrough in early September.
The issue is securing a 400-thousand pound (790-thousand dollars) budget necessary for the ten-day stay of 120 orchestra members in the two British cities.
Heather said a considerable amount has been gathered, and the concerts will proceed as planned. But he said he's continuously contacting firms and individuals for sponsorship.
