Incheon International Airport was selected as the fifth best airport around the world by a Hong Kong-based magazine.

The Business Traveler Asia-Pacific magazine reported in its October edition that a survey of its readers voted Singapore's Changi Airport the world leader, followed by Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok Airport, Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur Airport and Holland's Schiphol Airport in fourth place.

In particular, the new airport ranked third in the luggage processing category.

However, Incheon failed to make into the top 10 in the transit and duty free shop categories and ranked only 10th in the immigration checks section.
