More than 200,000 Koreans will go abroad over the five-day Lunar New Year’s holidays, which start Wednesday.

The Incheon International Airport Corporation said 208,500 Koreans will head overseas while 213,800 foreign tourists will visit Korea during the holiday period.

Thus an average of 41,710 Koreans will go abroad a day during the holidays and 42,700 foreigners will arrive in Korea.

Some 103,000 Koreans visited foreign countries during last year’s holidays.

The number of outbound international flights will reach 1,252 over the holidays while that of inbound arrivals will be 1,245.
