South and North Korea will hold their second working-level contact to open a management committee for the Mount Geumgang tourism district on Tuesday.

The two sides have agreed to set up the committee to develop tour projects for the scenic North Korean resort area but have yet to agree on the details.

Tuesday's talks will cover the committee's role and authority, as well as its launch date. The meeting will be held at the inter-Korean cooperation consultation office in the North Korean border city of Gaesong.

The second meeting was proposed by Pyongyang after the first contact was held late last year.
