The two Koreas will hold talks Tuesday on highway cooperation in the North Korean border city of Gaesong.

The two sides will focus discussions on repair work and joint use of a North Korean highway that links Gaesong and Pyongyang.

They will also discuss plans to conduct safety checks based on two rounds of joint on-site inspections carried out last December.

The Koreas agreed during economic cooperation talks last December to hold the highway cooperation talks.
