Seoul City officials said Monday that Seoul Grand Park and the Beijing Zoo will sign an exchange program for animals next month.
The two sides will sign the agreement around November 10. The officials said the program was made possible by the sister cities relationship between the two capitals.
A Korean tiger, two pandas and three Chinese wolves from the Beijing Zoo will be shown in the Seoul Grand Park's Zoological Garden from next month.
In return, the Seoul Grand Park will send 16 animals to Beijing, including a Siberian tiger, four baboons and three Northern Bal ibises.
