North Korean media are covering the New York Philharmonic's historic concert in the North Korean capital scheduled for next week.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency said Sunday that the Philharmonic will perform in Pyongyang Tuesday, calling it one of the world's top three orchestras.

The report also said the orchestra was the first performer of Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 in 1893, and that the Pyongyang performance will be its 14,558th concert.

North Korea's Korean Central Television will also air a program about the the New York Philharmonic, while Pyongyang Broadcasting Service has also reported about the planned concert.
