U.S. consortium submits airport land development plan

A U.S. consortium has submitted a proposal to invest one billion dollars in developing land surrounding the Incheon International Airport.
The proposal by PEG/Park and Prime Retail calls for the establishment of a comprehensive tourist complex with golf courses, hotels, convention centers and theaters.
The consortium is also reportedly interested in establishing a "Chinatown" near the airport in order to facilitate entry into the Chinese market ahead of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

S. Korean FM to receive Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of U.N.(O)

Foreign Minister Han Seung-soo ... the current president of the United Nations General Assembly ... will receive the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the United Nations.
The award ceremony will be in Oslo, Norway on December tenth.
This year's Nobel Peace Prize were awarded jointly to the United Nations and its Secretary General Kofi Annan.
