Incheon Metropolitan City said Friday it'll hold various events from next Monday until the end of June to commemorate "Russia Month."

During that period, Russian specialty products, books and artworks will be displayed, while a documentary on Korean-Russian cultural ties and Russian films will be shown.

Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo, Russian Ambassador to Korea Gleb Ivashentsov and other dignitaries will attend Monday's opening ceremony, which will feature a series of Russian arts performances.

The events will be held at the Chemulpo Club, which was built in 1901 and used as a social club for Western diplomats until 1913.
