Total production at the inter-Korean industrial complex in the North Korean border city of Gaesong has exceeded 300 million dollars.

The Gaesong Industrial Complex Management Committee, an inter-Korean joint office for managing the complex, said Friday that companies operating there have produced 309-point-sven million dollars worth of products since operation began in 2005.

The committee said total accumulated production reached 15 million dollars in 2005, and 74 million in 2006, before exceeding the 200 million dollar mark in September of last year.

Sixty-nine South Korean labor-intensive manufacturers are operating factories at the Gaesong complex, where an additional 28 companies are building factories.
