A North Korean state-run newspaper has warned that South Korea's continued alliance with foreign forces will unleash a crisis for inter-Korean relations.

The Rodong Sinmun said Monday the South's cooperation with other countries will fuel conflict between the two Koreas.

The organ of the North Korean Workers' Party said unification would face a roadblock if Seoul continues to join hands with Pyongyang's enemies, apparently referring to the United States.
