'SE Asian State Takes in More NK Defectors'

A government official says the number of North Koreans coming into the nation through a certain Southeast Asian country has grown from 50 a month to 70 this month.

The official says that country asked South Korea in January to take in more, citing a lack of accommodations.

But another official says space is limited at Hanawon, a government-run center for escapees in Seoul, making it difficult to bring in any more.
