NK Sends Large Delegation to Africa

North Korea has sent a 24-member delegation to Africa.

North Korean parliamentary leader Kim Yong-nam left Thursday on a four-nation tour of Namibia, Angola, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Accompanying him on the trip are several economic officials as well the North's foreign, trade, health and agriculture ministers.

The mission is Pyongyang's largest since it sent a delegation to Africa in April 2005 that was led by one of Kim Yong-nam's deputies.
