Churches across the nation have celebrated Easter with services and events.

Cardinal Nicholas Cheong Jin-suk of the Seoul Archdiocese led Easter Mass at Myongdong Cathedral Sunday.

He urged people to vote in the general elections on April 9th and political leaders to work for national unity and harmony.

Protestant churches also held a joint service in front of Seoul City Hall to celebrate Easter, with 20,000 devotees attending.

Large and small churches nationwide carried out services to celebrate Easter.
