Foreign stock ownership reaches record on KSE

According to the financial Supervisory Service Friday the combined market capitalization of shares owned by foreign investors accounted for a record 35.5 percent of all market capitalization.
As of the end of October, combined market capitalization reached $54.5 billion dollars, up $8.3 billion dollars from the preceding months.
Last month, foreign investors posted net buying of 1.4 trillion won in the main market, driving up the key index by 12.1 percent.
In the over-the-counter KOSDAQ market, foreign investors also registered net buying of 274.8 billion won, accounting for 9 percent of total market capitalization.
