NK Blasts S. Korea for Raising Human Rights Issue

North Korea has blasted the South Korean government for calling on the North to improve its rights conditions.

A North Korean state-run newspaper said the new conservative government in Seoul is stirring up hostility and distrust toward its "brother country."

The Rodong Sinmun claimed Seoul is attacking Pyongyang in alliance with foreign forces, calling its moves an intentional political provocation and an intolerable challenge

The North Korean newspaper called on South Korean President Lee Myung-bak not to intervene in the North’s domestic affairs.
