The 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan is just 200 days away

The 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan is just 200 days away. The Korea World Cup Organizing Committee hoisted the national flags of the 24 countries that qualified for the final games in front of the Seoul City Hall Monday. Ambassadors from the 24 countries, officials from the Federation of the International Football Association, and officials from the Japan World Cup Organizing Committee were invited to the ceremony.
Earlier on Sunday, a FIFA delegation expressed their strong confidence in the success of the 2002 World Cup in a news conference completing their three day inspection of newly-built World Cup Stadiums.
In a press conference at the Shilla Hotel in downtown Seoul, the four-member FIFA delegation said they couldn't find any big problems at the stadiums and came to the unanimous conclusion that Korea has what it takes to host the World Cup finals.
