The South Korean government Tuesday rechecked anti-terror emergency systems following the crash of an American Airlines' Airbus A-300 in the New York borough of Queens Tuesday evening, local time.
The government again ordered emergency staff in related fields diplomacy, national defense, police, construction and transportation to stand vigilant against terror threats.
The government has not launched additional emergency actions and is monitoring the situation closely as the crash could have been caused by mechanical failure.
But the government will take further action should the crash prove to be caused by terrorism.
