BOK to Hold 14th pacific basin central bank conference Thursday

The Bank of Korea (BOK) will hold the "14th Pacific Basin Central Bank Conference" at its headquarters in Seoul for a three-day run starting Thursday.
Central bank staff from 13 countries such as the United States, Japan, China and Australia will attend the forum.
Under the theme "Inflation Targeting-Theory, Empirical Models and Implementation in Pacific Basin Economies," experts on price stabilization will read papers and spur debate among the participants.
The forum, which was launched in 1975, is held every second year. South Korea last held the meeting in 1976.
