North Korea on Thursday continued its verbal offensive on the South Korean government, but involving fewer media outlets.

Pyongyang Broadcasting Station, North Korea's state-run radio srvice targeted for South Korea, condemned South Korean President Lee Myung-bak. It accused him of bowing to U.S. demands to resend South Korean troops to Afghanistan and to increase Seoul's contributions for keeping U.S. troops stationed in the South.

The report also criticized the president for not protesting Japan's territorial claims over Dokdo, South Korea's easternmost islets.

However, other major North Korean news media, including the state-run Korean Central News Agency, did not make any remarks critical of Seoul.
