Chief Nuke Envoy Goes to Washington

Korea's chief nuclear negotiator Kim Sook left for Washington Sunday for a meeting with his U.S. counterpart Christopher Hill.

Kim and Hill will discuss North Korea's nuclear declaration based on the results of Washington's talks with Pyongyang last week.

At the Washington meeting, the two envoys are also expected to discuss the possible impact of the North's suspected nuclear link with Syria on the six-party talks.

Seoul and Washington reportedly will discuss resuming the six-party talks and what to do if Pyongyang discloses its nuclear program.
