Algerian officials to visit Seoul for trade meeting

A state-run research institute said Friday that senior officials from South Korea and Algeria will hold a meeting next week in Seoul to discuss trade and commerce between the two countries, a state-run research institute said Friday.
The meeting, on Wednesday next week, will be attended by Minister for Trade Hwang Doo-yun and Algeria's Minister of Commerce Hamid Temmar.
A delegation of 59 senior officials and businessmen from Algeria will accompany the official delegation and will have a meeting with businessmen and officials from the Federation of National Industries on Friday.
South Korea established diplomatic relations with Algeria in 1990 and signed an economic cooperation agreement in 1999.
