A new high school devoted to international studies held an opening ceremony Wednesday in Seoul.

Since March, 154 students from around the nation have been studying at the Seoul Global High School. The co-ed boarding school is aimed at fostering international talent, drawing from the top ten percent of students in Korea.

All classes are taught in English with the exception of Korean language and history. The school says that students benefiting from this immersion program, student clubs and individual attention will acquire high English proficiency. The school hopes this would help them serve as diplomats, executives of multinational firms and international lawyers.
