Namkung vowed in a seminar with media editors"We will make it an ideal 'cultural World Cup' in which central and local governments, nationals and foreigners, tradition and the latest technology all harmonize.
South Korea and Japan co-host next year's global soccer tourney from May 31 to June 30 next year.
The culture minister suggested South Korea may introduce a new method of team drawing that will be based on Korean tradition, saying national cultural image must stand out from the very beginning of the tournament.
