Construction of an inter-Korean tree nursery has been completed in Gaeseong, North Korea.

Gyeonggi Province financed the construction in line with its agreement with the North to help reforestation there. The deal was signed last September.

Gyeonggi Governor Kim Moon-soo and a provincial delegation attended a dedication ceremony for the nursery in Gaeseong.

The nursery consists of three greenhouses, a management office and a power plant.

The farm will produce one-point-five million young trees a year after 2011.
