The U.N. Children's Fund and FIFA are dedicating next year's World Cup in South Korea and Japan to children.
The partnership will publicize the Say Yes for Children campaign, which urges people to pledge their commitment to 10 essential actions needed to improve and protect children's lives.
The suggested actions include child education, ending exploitation of children and protecting children from war.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter said he is looking forward to cooperation with UNICEF. He said it is FIFA's obligation as a global sports organization to help children all over the world, because football offers fun and hope based on tolerance, respect and fair play.
