Korean Air wins license to do business in Australia

The Australian government has recently granted the Korean Air a temporary license to fly a local route
According to the Construction and Transportation Ministry, the Korean Air will fly the route Brisbane-Sydney route on a temporarily until the end of this year.
The Korean Air plans to extend the license if requested by the Australian government.
A ministry official said the Australian route has remained under serviced after the collapse of Ansett Airlines ... one of the Australian domestic carriers.
He said it is the first time for a Korean flag carrier to operate domestic flight in a foreign country.
Korean Air flies 400-seat B747-400s seven times a week to Australia, and three of the flights make a stop in Brisbane.
In the meantime, the ministry plans to sign an accord with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia to discuss details of overseeing operations of the Korean Air.
