Both Koreas Hold Classes on June 15 Declaration

Teachers of the two Koreas are holding classes on the historical significance of the inter-Korean Joint Declaration of June 15th, 2000.

In a news conference Thursday, South Korea’s Korean Teachers and Education Workers’ Union said students will be taught the details and meaning of the declaration issued after the first-ever inter-Korean summit. The weeklong classes which started Thursday will continue through next Thursday.

The two sides have held such classes for four years.
