The National Assembly has approved a motion for the dispatch of South Korean troops to assist the U.S. war on terrorism in Afghanistan. The contingent consists of non-combat forces, which include a one hundred-50 member medical unit, a Navy landing ship, a transport unit, and four Air Force C-1-30 transport planes.
