S. Korea and Japan will hold various meetings this week

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said Monday...South Korea and Japan will hold various bilateral meetings in Tokyo this week, including fishing talks. The bilateral fishing talks will be held in the Japanese capital from Thursday to Saturday. A director general at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries will represent South Korea.
On Thursday, both countries will hold an aid policy consultation meeting and meet the next day to discuss pending environmental issues at the South Korea-Japan Environment Committee. On Dec. 18 in Tokyo, the two countries are scheduled to hold the ninth meeting on the proposed bilateral investment treaty.
