Hyundai Asan Chief Postpones Return from NK

Hyundai Asan President Yoon Man-jun has postponed his return from a visit to North Korea. He and five other company executives are currently holding discussions with North Korean authorities concerning a South Korean tourist who was killed Friday at Mount Geumgang.

Yoon planned to return to the South at around five p.m. Monday through the inter-Korean immigration office in Goseong, Gangwon Province.

However, he decided to extend his stay as the two sides have not yet concluded the talks.

Hyundai Asan, the operator of tours to the North Korean mountain resort, said it was unclear whether Yoon would return on Tuesday or not.

For three days, Yoon's party met with their North Korean counterparts to figure out how the tourist was killed and to come up with countermeasures, but they failed to make any progress.
