A 24-hour radio music station for multicultural families will kickoff at midnight on August first.

Woongjin Foundation, together with Digital Skynet, will operate a channel on Radio Kiss aimed at helping such families adjust to Korea. It can be heard on satellite broadcaster SkyLife's audio music station (channel 855) and cable TV CNM's digital radio (channel 313).

The station will first air music and cultural programs in four languages targeting China, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand with six hours of live broadcasts followed by replays of the broadcasts for the remainder of the day.

It will gradually begin to include informative programs for immigrants relating to childcare, health service, family laws and employment.
