China is reportedly planning to close all border bridges with North Korea to block North Korean escapees from entering China during the Olympic Games.

According to diplomatic sources in Beijing Tuesday, Chinese authorities plan to temporarily shut down its border bridges with the North from August eighth to the 24th.

The sources also said North Korea is expected to send a 440-member cheering squad to the world sporting event.
