North Korea's official daily Choson Sinbo has reported that the ASEAN Regional Forum in Singapore dropped inter-Korean issues from the chairman’s statement at the request of South Korea after the closing ceremony.

The report said that, before the revision, the statement contained strong supports for inter-Korean dialogues based on the October fourth joint statement of 2007 and calls for resolving the shooting of a South Korean tourist on July eleventh at the North’s resort Mount Geumgang.

The daily added that the security forum discussed regional and international current issues.

It also reported that Pyongyang’s Foreign Minister Pak Ui-chun met U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
