Naver Donates 100 Million Won to VANK

The nation’s leading portal Naver has donated 100-million won, about 100-thousand dollars, to the Voluntary Agency Network of Korea (VANK).

Naver opened a special site focusing on the Dokdo islets at the beginning of this month and has collected donations from over 68-thousand users.

The money will be used by VANK to correct information about the Dokdo islets on international charts and maps and to promote the issue of the islets to the world.

Established in 1999, the nongovernmental organization has strived to educate the world about topics related to Korea.
