Gov't' NK Policy to Pursue Coexistence and Coprosperity

The government will seek “coexistence and coprosperity” for the next five years in its policy towards North Korea.

Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Ho-nyoun said that the government has decided to call its North Korea policy a policy of coexistence and coprosperity. He also made public two types of booklets that promote the government's policy toward North Korea.

The spokesman added that the ministry briefed President Lee Myung-bak on the new government’s policy toward the North in March and then proceeded to produce the booklets after completing internal policy discussions.
