North Korea is promoting its mass gymnastics performance “Arirang” at home and abroad.

The Korean Central Broadcasting Station in Pyongyang reported Tuesday morning that tens of thousands of people saw the Monday performance, which the state-run radio called "a precious cultural treasure."

The North's official Korean Central News Agency also said that performers enchanted spectators with high-spirited, mysteriously artistic mass gymnastics.

According to Radio Free Asia in Washington on Tuesday, the North allowed APTN, the television arm of The Associated Press, to tape and air the performance outside the country.
