North Korea is reportedly promoting its Arirang festival during the Beijing Olympics.
Voice of America says the North's Korean Travel Agency is promoting the mass gymnastics and artistic performance for Korean Americans visiting Beijing during the world sporting event.
The travel agency is offering a variety of tours, ranging anywhere from two to seven nights, that include tickets to the Arirang performance. The U.S. government broadcaster in Washington said a three-day, two-night package is being sold for one-thousand U.S. dollars per person.
Travelers will fly to Pyongyang after being issued a visa and plane ticket in the northeastern Chinese city of Shenyang.
The tours also include visits to major tourist attractions in Pyongyang, including the Grand People's Study House and Mangyongdae School Children's Palace. Visitors are also taken on a tour of the inter-Korean border city of Gaeseong, Nampo port and Mount Myohyang.
The Arirang festival kicked off on August fourth at May First Stadium in Pyongyang. Arirang was staged in 2005 and 2007 after its inaugural performance in 2002.
This year's festival will continue until the end of next month.
