A group of next-generation leaders from China visited the nation Monday.

For the next ten days, the group of 152 young leaders will tour around major cultural and industrial sites in Jeju Island, Busan and Seoul.

The visit comes upon an invitation from the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs in Seoul.

The government has been extending such an invitation annually since 2004 in a bid to promote friendly bilateral ties.

Last month, a group of 134 South Korean youths visited China as part of the program.
