South Korean airline Korean Air (KAL) will start direct Seoul-Hanoi services from Tuesday, flying twice a week. Vietnam Airlines has been servicing the route from last year, but the flights were scheduled in the early hours of the morning. South Korea's two carriers, Korean Air and Asiana, are already in service between Seoul and Ho Chi Minh, five times a week. South Korea and Vietnam normalized diplomatic relations in 1992.
