NK Allows Auto Race to Cross Inter-Korean Border

North Korea has suggested an international car race enter into its territory.

Maximillion Cooper, the CEO of the Gumball Rally, said the North made the proposal to participants of this year's rally held in China when they were invited to Pyongyang Wednesday.

The proposal was reportedly approved by North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.

Cooper says he plans to start discussions with South Korea on a rally that plans to cross the entire Korean Peninsula.

If the proposal survives, 120 cars will cross the inter-Korean border and arrive in South Korea from China via North Korea.
