All disabled children aged three years or younger will get free education starting in 2012.

The children will receive free kindergarten and high school educations. Currently, free mandatory education is offered to all children at the elementary and middle school level.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announced Monday a three-phase plan for the education of disabled children.

The ministry will also initiate an early identification program for parents to discover whether their children are disabled or not. It will also provide more information to mothers on education programs for disabled children.
