The presidential office said Tuesday the Norwegian royal mint has produced 25,000 medals marking President Kim Dae-jung's winning of last year's Nobel Peace Prize. Officials said the commemorative silver medal carries a portrait of Kim on the front and the words "2000 Nobel Peace Prize laureate" on the back. The Norwegian royal mint has so far issued commemorative medals for 19 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, including former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev.
