'N.Korea's Food Shortage Worsening'

The World Food Program says North Korea's food shortage is worsening due to continued crop failure and decreased food aid from the international community.

The U.N. food agency’s regional director for Asia Tony Banbury told National Public Radio of the U.S. Friday that the food shortage is especially serious among children, pregnant women and the elderly.

On a visit to the impoverished country, he said many children get sick after eating wild plants.
