The Justice Ministry announced Friday that it will parole 1,107 convicts on Christmas Eve. The ministry selected prisoners who had obtained qualifications, won medals at skills competitions and passed the qualifying examination for college entrance. Among those to be paroled are 15 prisoners who have served over 10 years in prison. The ministry, however, excluded prisoners who committed such crimes as drug and human trafficking, rape, and murder. The prisoners have undergone two months of social adaptation training before their release Monday.
