A source specializing in North Korea says a team of German doctors visited the isolated country to treat leading North Korean officials.

The source said the doctors were flown in to treat ailing former First Vice Chairman of the National Defense Commission, Cho Myong-rok, and others from the first and second generations of revolutionary fighters.

It denied a recent media report that Chinese doctors visited Pyongyang to treat North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
