The alleged female North Korean spy, who entered South Korea disguised as a defector, admitted to all charges at a trial on Wednesday.

At the first hearing held at the Suwon District Court, Won Jeong-hwa admitted to all the charges brought against her by the prosecution.

She said she willfully submitted a statement, stating her intent to convert to South Korean ideology, to court authorities Tuesday.

About 60 domestic and foreign journalists were present at the court to report on the trial.
