Hyundai Asan plans to organize an ancestor-memorial service for the Chuseok holidays at Mount Geumgang and Gaeseong despite a halt in tours to the mountain resort.

Hyundai said Friday the key operator of inter-Korean tourism projects will hold the services for its 25 employees and some 200-hundred other South Koreans working at Mount Geumgang and Gaeseong.

In the past, before tours to the scenic mountain resort were suspended, South Korean tourists visiting Geumgang during Chuseok also took part in the memorial service.
