Two Koreas to Discuss Summit Celebrations

Delegates from South and North Korea will hold a meeting next week in Gaeseong to discuss events to mark the first anniversary of the 2007 inter-Korean summit.

South Korean organizers say North Korea sent a fax on Saturday to propose that the chief delegates from both sides meet next Tuesday at the North's border city of Gaeseong.

The two sides had planned to hold a meeting Friday of last week, but it fell through after South Korea refused North Korea's demand that the South exclude two members from its 14-member delegation to the preparatory talks.
